The SFT Canada National Conference is returning to the West Coast! SFT Canada’s National Conference will be held on November 26-28 at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta. Get ready to participate in innovative workshops, meet other amazing activists, and become a non-violence campaign guru – all in one weekend.

The SFT Canada National Conference will provide basic and advanced training on non-violent resistance, grassroots organizing and strategic campaigning to current and future leaders of the Tibetan Freedom Movement to advance the goal of human rights and freedom for Tibet. This conference will bring together student activists, Tibetan community organizers, and seasoned human rights campaigners from all over Canada for three days of workshops, presentations, and discussions.

For those who have never been to a SFT conference or camp but are interested in joining or starting up a chapter at your school, this conference is a must!

So start planning your travel arrangements and fill out the application form.

Upon receiving your application, we will send you an email confirming your attendance to the conference. If you are coming from out of town and need accommodations for Friday and Saturday evening, please state so in the application form.

A registration fee of $40 will help cover food, accommodation, and training costs. If you cannot afford the fee but would like to attend, please contact:
