SFT Canada – Updates from the National Office

Hey everyone,

SFT Canada has exciting news to share – we moved into a new office space in… Parkdale (yes, you read it right)!

Having the national office in Parkdale is something that SFT Canada always wanted. We wanted to be in Parkdale in order to be close to the Tibetan community. We also wanted to provide a space for Tibetan students in Parkdale where they can drop by after school, volunteer and become more active in the community. We know that the new office space will be utilized to it’s fullest extent as we already have a group of students from Parkdale Collegiate Institute coming in tomorrow to paint a banner for our December 10, International Human Rights Day Action.

On December 10, Tibetans and supporters will be gathering in major landmarks in downtown Toronto, holding up Tibetan flags and “freezing” in place for 10 minutes. This is our way of saluting Tibetan freedom fighter who have perished and who continue to fight inside Tibet. We invite all Tibetans and supporters to join us for this creative, fun and powerful action in downtown Toronto!
