This March 10, Be in the Streets for Tibet!More than 25 Tibetans have self-immolated in Tibet since 2009. Monks and nuns, 18 years old to 42 years old, have sacrificed their bodies and lives for the sake of freedom in Tibet, and called for the return of the Dalai Lama his birthplace.
Tibetans inside Tibet need you now more than ever! This is a critical period in our movement. China’s response to these tragic circumstances has been to increase their brutality and oppression. Monasteries are locked down, Tibetans are indiscriminately detained and tortured; all under the cloak of secrecy as China closes Tibet to any media scrutiny.
